Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario

As guardian of the public interest and the rule of law, the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario has responsibility for public inquiries into matters of judicial significance to society.

In 2005, the Ministry established the Cornwall Public Inquiry to look into the response of the justice system and other public institutions to allegations of historical abuse in Cornwall. This massive undertaking culminated in the release of the four-volume inquiry report in December 2009. The report needed consistent, clear editing and editorial coordination.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Analyst, we provided editorial services, developed and implemented a set of stylistic conventions, and coordinated the work of several editors. As needed, we also offered design and production liaison.
